My name is Jason Jafarian, and I hold a dual role as a Project Manager and Software Developer. My experience covers both traditional and agile project environments.
It is my belief that the best technical leaders not only know how to lead and delegate, but also understand business needs and technical requirements. To achieve this in my own career, I have taken the opportunity to obtain education in both domains, as well as certification in all three Scrum roles — Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Developer.
My technical background and current employment is in Java development, with specialties in security, accessibility, and modernization topics for government clients.

Agile coach and Java developer, supporting the creation of a new application in an ECM environment to handle preexisting processes and improvements. The team also took this opportunity to migrate to a full agile "Scrumban" process where I provided additional support as a coach and scrum master.

This certification denotes validated knowledge in leading and directing projects, as well as maintaining the various artifacts throughout the various phases of the project lifecycle.

SAFe 5.0
Formal training over two days covering agile methodologies in a scaled multi-team environment, and the division of work and respective planning for utilizing multiple program increments. Culminated with a certification exam.
